2nd Lt George Addington Howkins

The Guardroom

Recommended Posts

Researching an officer of the 12th NF who is reported killed between the 25th - 27th Sept 1915 on the CWGC site.

Have done a basic search on google for any info, but nothing, so hoping that someone on the forum will have something on him or the action he was killed in.

Do have a pic of him which is attached, which interestingly says he was in the 10th Battalion NF.

Many thanks,

Alan

Aargh - the vagaries of searching The Times - neither Howkins or Addington brought up a family notice - but the name of the family home did!! Doesn't add any more info though

Alan

There are four pages of 12th NF diary that cover the 25th/26th Sept period. I'll post them one at a time to stay within the 100k limit.
