Moonraker Posted 4 September , 2008 Share Posted 4 September , 2008 Today's Reading Chronicle announces an exhibition to be held on Tuesday, November 4 at Dunsden, near Reading, in memory of Wilfred Owen, who worked in the village as the vicar's assistant before the Great War. All Saints' Church is appealing for World War One memorabilia to support the event, and is inviting visitors to it between 10am and 4pm. A contact phone number is given, but I'm slightly reluctant to post it here (am I being unduly cautious?) but will PM it on request. Moonraker Posted 31 October , 2023 Author Share Posted 31 October , 2023 I thought that I'd posted about the stained-glass window in Dunsden Church commemorating Owen, but I can find no trace. So: one of various Internet references. Owen in Dunsden website Other Internet references suggest that the window is being unveiled this Sunday, November 5 at an event for which all the tickets have been sold.
