Cant find Charles though.

this may be one to follow up on - the DC is the vital piece of evidence of course - the Star & Garter Homes were for disabled ex servicmen

do you have access to his service record on ancestry - he is actually Samuel Charles Stephen Barlow Harrison son of Ernest Alphonse Harrison of 377 Attercliffe Rd - cause of discharge Parapleigia

DC is Samuel C S B Harrison age 25 Ref Richmond S Vol 2a Page 241
