Hi

George Catlow of Blackburn, served in WW1 and hailed from Blackburn is there any means of establishing where these George's are from?

This is the grandfather of a friend of mine, however she does not know what regiment!!! so I thought I'd attempt to find out.

I've checked the CWGC and no George's are listed as dead so this leaves me with 5 possibles!

The only George Catlow in the 'burnt records' series on Ancestry is the one who served in theEast Lancs reg't. His dmob home address is in BArnoldswick and his NOK is Robert with an address in Guide. Is this your man?
