towisuk Posted 4 August , 2008 Share Posted 4 August , 2008 Hi, was there a reason for the Corona trench map posting, there was no text with it..due to the size it was rather indistinct. I hope this helps...... regards Tom
dycer Posted 4 August , 2008 Share Posted 4 August , 2008 Tom, I was wondering that myself. Skip, If your interested, this is from the History of the 1/8th Royal Scots Pioneer Battalion to the 51st(Highland) Dvision. Battle of Arras "During the subsequent fighting round Roeux and the Chemical Works, the Battalion did some of its best work.It dug and maintained practically all the new front, support lines, and communication trenches, including "Crow,""Crook,""Cash,""Crete,""Corona,""Ceylon,""Camel,"etc. George p.s. I've got a copy of the Battalion War Diary so if you require any specific information about Corona from the Diary, please let me know.
