susanhemmings Posted 3 August , 2008 Share Posted 3 August , 2008 Roy, Do you think this could be his MIC - (MC) written after his surname I am sorry, but I cannot interpret anything on it (apart from a few things of course). One of the experts here will be better placed to help you on this. Susan

Stebie9173 Posted 3 August , 2008 Share Posted 3 August , 2008 Announcement, LG 19-11-1917 T./2nd Lt. Thomas Eric Graham, attd. Sco. Rif. http://www.gazettes-online.co.uk/ViewPDF.a...20Eric%20Graham Citation, LG 22-3-1918 T./2nd Lt. Thomas Eric Graham, attd. Sco. Rif. For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. When sent out on a patrol with three men to examine a river, he found a footbridge, crossed it, and made a thorough reconnaissance. On returning the enemy made an unsuccessful attempt to cut him off, and he withdrew his patrol under fire without a casualty. On the following night when on patrol he was instrumental in the discovery of a second footbridge, and owing to his good leadership his patrol gained most valuable information. On both occasions he showed great determination and sound judgment. http://www.gazettes-online.co.uk/ViewPDF.a...20Eric%20Graham Steve.
