This is a great web site since

a) it has a highly detailed online finding aid to a significantly large private archives

B) it covers a very neglected aspect of the war, namely civilian relief during the war in and near the front lines

c) it covers the very significant roles of women in organizing, lobbying, memorializing etc...during and after the war

d) it covers another negelcted aspect of the war what happened in the years after 1918
