McCrory was sometime C. O. of the Battalion A retyped edition has recently been published by the Londonderry Branch of the Somme Association. It tells the history of the 10th Battalion from its formation at Finner Camp in late 1914,an its part in the actions at Thiepval, Messines and Ypres.
