sjustice Posted 22 July , 2008 Share Posted 22 July , 2008 Hello all, I'm trying to track down the movements of a casualty who 'died' on 16/11/1917. He is Fred Sussex, Corporal 30362 1st Devonshire Regt. Whilst I think it possible he was lost in the attack on POLDERHOEK CHATEAU on 6/11 (82 Wounded, 11 Missing) I note that between then and 16/11 twenty-three ORs were 'transferred to hospital' during routine movements and billeting. I know it's a long shot but can someone tell me which CCS was serving the Division for 6-16 November 1917 and I'll rummage MH106. It was likely at Bedford House I should think. Also possible is the fact that, though he is commemorated at Tyne Cot, his remains may be buried at Bedford House. Kind Regards, SMJ
