squirrel Posted 22 July , 2008 Share Posted 22 July , 2008 I believe that this Field Company was serving with 41st Division after they came back from Italy. Have a casualty from 11th August 1918 and was wondering where the Coy was at this time. Initially thought that it might be the Battle of Amiens but the chap in question is buried at Lissjenthoek so more likely the Salient somewhere? Any help greatly appreciated. Ron Clifton Posted 22 July , 2008 Share Posted 22 July , 2008 In early August 1918 41st Division was in Second Army in the Salient, attacking south-eastwards to re-capture Mount Kemmel. Do bear in mind, though, that Lijssenthoek is behind the lines and he may have died of wounds suffered some time before. Ron
