JimSmithson Posted 18 July , 2008 Share Posted 18 July , 2008 Hi Mark I think the fact that Achiet Le Grande was in British hands until March 1918 after the 1917 attacks means that htere may not be any trench maps early 1918. I could be wrong but for now here are 2 maps, one from 02/17 and one form 07/18. They show very little variation, probably meaning that the British used the German trenches post March 1917 and similarly the Germans resused their old trenches post March 1918. By the way, have you seen Philippe Drouin site at http://shark62.chez-alice.fr/index.htm If not you will find a lot about Achiet Le Grande there. This is 1917 Now 1918 I can send better copies if you wish by email Jim
