Rfn Edwin BOLLAND 2094 1st/5th Bn, The King’s (Liverpool Regiment) Died 18.05.15 Age 20 Commemoration: Le Touret Memorial, France Engine Fitter Arthur Sidney WEST 1014 Australian Munition Worker Died 08.11.17 Age 27 Buried: Dartford (East Hill) Cemetery, Kent, UK Rfn William George Frederick WHITE S/30831 8th Bn, Rifle Brigade Died 01.08.18 Age 20 Commemoration: Brookwood (United Kingdom 1914-1918) Memorial, Surrey, UK NOT FORGOTTEN Arthur West’s case was put forward by GWF on 06.02.08 and was the result of a tremendous joint effort by many members of the Forum. Neil Clark originally spotted the grave and it went from there. The story can be read in the appropriate thread. CWGC is getting in contact with the relatives. Rfn White was put forward by GWF on 02.07.08 on behalf of member, John Hartley Rfn Bolland is a further discovery by the In From The Cold Project. The volunteer who found this man is listed below. Living at 46, Derwent Road, Stoneycroft, Liverpool In G Coy 21/2/1915 To France 11/3/1915 To Actg Cpl 23/4/1915 Whilst at Cuinchy Neglect of duty when in command of a ??, failing to post sentries when on guard. Reduced from Actg Cpl to Rfn 18/5/1915 Wounded in action at Richebourg l’Avoue 1/8/1915 Record changed to Wounded and Missing – no further information can be obtained.
