Hi, I'm looking for information on Private Thomas James Evans Royal Warwickshire Regiment, service number 44025 who apparently joined in 1917. Any help would be appreciated.

Here's his MIC - no date in the "date entered theatre" confirms post 1916 entry.... (but not necessarily enlistment).

Hope I can be of help to someone. Over the years I have built up a database of members of the above Regiment. It currently has 39000 entries. By necessity, it is still not complete. However, if you want me to look someone up, just ask

Sorry to mess you around. I made a mistake. The Thomas James Evans I wanted is 52270 Pte. Thomas James Evans from Llanelly. Thanks for your help already.

How do you know that he served in the 16th Royal Warwicks?

Terry

Hi, Terry. Thanks for the post and email. I had the 16th Battalion from a relative who has also done some research. Forwarded it to me this afternoon. What's the cause of discharge code listed on the right hand corner?

Terry,

Do you know where the 3rd Birmignham Pals were at end of August early September 1918?
