Unfortunately there are not that many photos taken of the strongpoints such as the Schwaben Redoubt. There might be aerial photos in the IWM. As to a book or books you might want to check some of the Battleground Europe series or the large size Pals series for photos.

If there are any particular strongpoints that you are interested in, let us know. The Battleground Europe series has a book on 'The Hindenburg Line' (ISBN 0 85052 568 3), which has the most pictures of German strongpoints, pillboxes, gun pits etc. However, some other books in the series do have photographs of specific sites.
