Great Great Uncles

Thanks to this forum, I have been able to find the last resting places of both my Great great Uncles. What I am no after is there service records (if possible) I know the medals they received (the standard three and the dead mans penny’s) I also have their first theatre and the date they died, but everything else is a blank.

The first is George Fred Andrews - Dorset Yeomanry #369. He first went to Egypt on the 23/04/1915 and was then killed in Gallipoli 21.08.1915.

The second is George Sharland - Devon Regiment # 10761- 2nd Battalion- He went to France on the 25/07/1915 and died as a prisoner of war then buried at Montcornet Military Cemetery in France.

I have been very fortunate to be able to find out so much about my Uncles aand this is in no small part to the people on this forum.

I am once again very grateful to any assistance that is forthcoming.

Thanks

Marty
