Salisbury plain (trees)

Wondering if any Pal can help, a few years ago whilst doing something soldierly on Salisbury Plain area, we found some trees which you could still make out the carvings on, just soldiers names and regiments but of WW1 era, some WW2 too, wondering if any other soldierly type can remember where they were exactly??

At the time never entered head to take photos of.
