Jim Strawbridge Posted 16 June , 2008 Share Posted 16 June , 2008 If British Red Cross I would have thought that she would have a grave cared for by the CWGC. I wonder if she was American Red Cross.

Sue Light Posted 21 June , 2008 Share Posted 21 June , 2008 Here is a photo of Kathleen Simmonds: Are you able to expand at all on the source of the photo and how she was employed? Sue
Carmania Posted 21 June , 2008 Share Posted 21 June , 2008 Sue It came from a collection at the IWM. As yet I haven't been able to pinpoint the exact work she did but the photo had a heading 'Joint War Committe' and beneath it had the description 'Kathleen Simmonds who died of pneumonia on service'.
