Seaforth Barracks

Does anyone know which units were stationed at Seaforth Barracks, Liverpool during 1917. I am looking at enlistment there and am getting confused between the KLR, Cheshires and the Training Reserve.

Anyone have any ideas ?

Regards

Dave

I think that by 1917 enlistment at Seaforth was just a beaurocratic formality. My grandfather enlisted there, was assigned to the RWF, was almost immediately transferred to the Border Regiment and finally fought with the 1/5th Kings (Liverpool) Regiment.

my local paper CROSBY HERALD today has 2 photos of seaforth barracks.one taken of a marching band in 1910 marching out the main gate.
