Guest Filipe Décio Posted 17 February , 2004 Share Posted 17 February , 2004 Hello Can anyone provide me with division-level orders of battle for the French formations that took part in the battle of the Somme in 1916, particularly for the first day of the offensive? All I know is that, initially, only the 6e Armée attacked, the 10e Armée (Micheler) being held in reserve. As for the formations under the 6e Armée (Fayolle), I have: 20e Corps (Balfourier) 11 DI 39 DI Two other divisions 1e Corps Colonial (Berdoulat) 2 DI (or DIC?) Three other divisions (which?) 35e Corps Three divisions (which?) Can anyone add/correct this, or provide French orders of battle for other stages of the battle? I thank you in advance.
