Does anyone know what happened to this? My sky box recorded six episodes, and then the series seems to have completely vanished from the listings. I assumed they'd run the lot, or did I simply miss it?

Only the first six episodes were broadcast. Hopefully they will show the others at intervals during the next 4 years.

Given the proportion of repeats on the box, it would be unusual if the entire series wasn't re-broadcast. I certainly hope so.

Thanks for that, good to know I didn't just miss the rest of it. Sadly, of all the endless repeats they do dredge up, this is rarely seen, but here's hoping. I have watched all of them on youtube, which just goes from strength to strength as a place for tracking down long forgotten documentaries, but it would be nice (awaiting an affordable dvd copy) to have them with the better picture quality of a broadcast version. Thanks for the replies.

The boxed set was very cheap at one stage and then the Mail gave it away. I suppose this may have blighted the commercial prospects for a re-release of it.

Indeed, and even the Mail freebies now go for £50 or so pounds a set, although it is worth watching the auctions for complete sets that slips through cheaply. I think the Beeb might be missing a trick if they don't release a reasonably priced centenary edition.

Good to know. I have a DM set as a back up in case of damage. The DM set is mainly in the form of one episode per DVD and the commercial set has multiple of epiodes per DVD.
