steve fuller Posted 4 June , 2005 Share Posted 4 June , 2005 Hi Phillipe I would imagine it to be the 12th Middx, as they were in the 54th Bgde at that time, but Ill have a look thru the 7th Beds diary to look for a reference to them & confirm it. CROONAERT Posted 4 June , 2005 Share Posted 4 June , 2005 i'm trying to identify whitch bn of the middlesex was on the right of the 7 th bedford and freed bihucourt in march 1917. http://shark62.chez.tiscali.fr <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It was "A" and "C" companies of the 12th Bn. They entered Bihucourt Trench and village on 17th March. Dave.
steve fuller Posted 4 June , 2005 Share Posted 4 June , 2005 No confirmation in March, but February and April have mentions of the 12th Middx, and the Brigade obviously fought together ion formation, so I would expect it to be them. Cheers Steve
AGWR Posted 4 June , 2005 Share Posted 4 June , 2005 As Dave says, it's definitely the 12th Middlesex. Regards, AGWR
