A relaxing xmas eve?

Dear reader,

I woke at 8:30 a.m. and anticipated a relaxing Xmas eve. How wrong was I!!!!!!!!!!!

It started off quite well, you know the sort of thing, cup of coffee in one hand, round of toast in the t'other.

Sort of went down hill from there really.

Dropped daughter into Wolves for work. Visit to moms to drop/collect xmas gifts. Should be picking son up from Wolves railway station at 1:10..........all planned with military precision.

Oh dear, two hundred yards (metres) from moms off goes the mobile.....It's son, missed the train in Leicester (DOH!)

Next one will get him back to Wolves after two changes at 4:15.

OK, at moms chewin' the fat......mobile goes off (What did we do before them) Train left leicester station got to Loughborough and broke down :o

So off I go to Loughborough, now if you had told me that I would be going there this morning I would have laughed my head off.

Return home then straight out again to do the xmas drop/collect at the 'in-laws'

Just got back.......Her-in-draws is knackered and I'm not far behind.

Well dear reader I will sign off.

Best wishes to you and spare a thought for us (thats me) poor sods that have to work Xmas day.

No pezzies for me till after 3pm and no Xmas din dins till after 5pm.

Bad year this year I gotta work Boxing day and new years eve (sob, sob)

Keep safe dear reader and have a good un.
