must have been quite a bang and light show when the 16000 rounds in the shell dump was hit

One of the C.F.A.'s ammo dumps receives a direct hit during the Battle of Amiens with minimal casualties.

 

The ordinance is separated from the fuses in the dumps, so a big chain reaction set off by a single strike is not guaranteed.
