Great stuff as ever Ted; but along with all the excellent photos and documents posted I was very pleasantly surprised to find two of Liverpool. All I've got to do now is find where the first one is if possible. The American troops were most likely en route to the rest camp at Knotty Ash. I'll let you know how I get on.

Thanks, Pete.  There were some other photos of Liverpool on preceding days which I neglected/declined to post...I believe these were of american troops too.
