My Hohn family ancestors immigrated from Hessen Germany and a cousin had this pic of what I would guess to be a cousin who remained in Germany but beyond that nobody knows anything. I’ve scoured the web looking for the uniform or the mustache style trying to place the pic. I think the uniform looks like a Ulanka, which I discovered on this website. Hello!

No mystery..

It´s an Ulanka. In Hanau was the "Thüringsches Ulanen-Regiment Nr.6" (XVIII. Army Corps).
