Keith Woodland Posted 12 October , 2018 Share Posted 12 October , 2018 One of the best memorials I have seen anywhere is the long avenue of trees in King Park with the plaques at the bases all placed there by families. I thought that all the Australian memorials I saw were very good but this was the must see for me.
gilly100 Posted 12 October , 2018 Author Share Posted 12 October , 2018 This is part of that Keith. On May Drive in King's Park. It largely circles the park and the plaques are on either side of the road. WW1 and WW2 mostly along with some other memorials dotted throughout the park including Vietnam. You could spend days there. One of our national treasures amongst our flora and fauna too. Ian
