vaugh Posted 22 February , 2008 Share Posted 22 February , 2008 Hi Mark, That's one very late issue, I'm used to seeing dates from the 60's and 70's for enquiries but have not seen one for a medal issue quite as late as this. I've seen plenty for issues in the late 30's and the majority for the 20's. I guess because he died the initial return was never followed through and given the situation in Ireland official post from England may have caused undue distress, so the family never completed the process.
