kevinrowlinson Posted 11 March , 2007 Share Posted 11 March , 2007 Having gone through numerous records that are now available from Ancestry, I wondered whether it would be a good idea for fellow members to list any stray records that have been misfiled. I do not think that this is the same as missorts, the one I have recently come across does not come up on search, although his other records may become available later. It may be just one sheet, but for someone searching for a relative I would have thought quite important. Anyway the one I have seen is 352388 Roberts, Leonard S, RGA, in the files of 353829 Bishop, Sam, RGA. Regards Kevin
christine liava'a Posted 11 March , 2007 Share Posted 11 March , 2007 This is a good idea. Australian soldiers online also. There are many stray documents inserted in the files of Australian soldiers at NAA, relating to other soldiers but apparently having no connection of any sort. I haven't got an example at the moment, but they are certainly there. Christine
