Remembered Today:

Medical term: C2

I'm still trying to decifer some letters from Private Alfreb Bass to his Mother in 1915. He has to have a second medical to join the Army because the first time he was classified as "C2" and not "A1".

I know A1 means fully fit (does it come from a forces term?) but I cannot find any reference to C2.

Are there any army medical doctors out there who can help?

Thanks!

Keith,

There was a full listing of all the categories of fitness fairly recently. Trouble is I cannot point you to which thread it fell under. Try searching the forum and maybe you will find it. Alternatively the pal who posted it might read this and point you in the right direction!

Keith

Medical Categories can be found on the LLT Mother Site.

I've attached a link to them Here

Gentlemen,

thankyou for your replies - I've spend weeks trying to find this information.

Luckily there is no medical condition known as "can't search the web properly" otherwise I would be in trouble.
