seaforths Posted 9 August , 2014 Share Posted 9 August , 2014 For those looking for repats who don't get an 'R' number on the card. Here is a list of the repatriation records I have managed to compile and these also include those repatriated before the Armistice. Precede each number with the letter 'R' from the drop down menu (as opposed to the PA or P options) and insert the number from a series below. There seems to be not much in the way of identifiable organisation in these lists so be warned a manual search for an individual could take some considerable time:1389 – 19090 mixed nationality death notices10050 – 49936 mixed nationality death notices10106 – 50572 mixed nationality death notices13783 – 13920 and 50259 – 50352 and 50252+ (also contains death notices)14246 – 14426 and 50353 - 5050850509 - 5084050570 - 5114951150 - 5130051301 - 5149951500 – 51699 and BV 48-53 (listes)51700 - 5189951900 - 5204952050 - 5219952200 - 5234952350 - 5249952500 - 5264952650 – 5279952800 - 5294952950 - 5309953100 - 5324953250 - 5339953400 - 53543Cheers all and hope it helps some of you.Edit: Sorry, I should have also said find a soldier in the lists. Any man seems to do the trick. Click on his card and the red bar to find more information then select the 'R' from the drop down and you can go from there with a number within the above list. Superbladesman Posted 15 August , 2014 Share Posted 15 August , 2014 Check out the following link for help in understanding the cards http://grandeguerre.icrc.org/Content/help/3step-E15-01.pdf From the information A.820181 is the reference to an enquiry letter from a relative, in this case Mrs G Blenco which was subsequently destroyed. The card was generated as a result of this enquiry Still looking for explanation on second reference Cheers hope this helps
