Thanks for that! I used to work as the assistant to a guy who flew one... What year was it made? And did I see a triplane coming at 11'o'clock, angels high?

Very nice. I consider the BF to be one of the much underrated aircraft of the Great War. I recall seeing one at Duxford some years back circling the area for a long time. I believe they were getting hours on the engine so they could participate in future air shows. Do you know the story behind this one & where this flight took place?

Thanks for this Mauld, I can't work out how I missed it when you first posted it so thanks also to Skirmisher. There is something about hearing the sound of the engine of any aircraft that adds a new dimension.
