tim_oz Posted 12 October , 2010 Share Posted 12 October , 2010 For those who enjoyed the photos from the Salt Springs Archives there is a large set of aerial photos available from the ANA. They are in two parts here http://recordsearch.naa.gov.au/scripts/Imagine.asp?B=635777 and here http://recordsearch.naa.gov.au/scripts/Imagine.asp?B=635778 They were collected by a Major Morse of the Australian Electrical and Mechanical Mining and Boring Company and cover the front from just north of Loos to just south of Armentieres and are mainly a selection of mine craters. Each photo has a cover sheet which may or may not give an accurate description of the location and most have a map reference, which are correct sometimes with an orientation sketch on the back as well as the date taken.
