Hello all,

Could some kind soul help me out with the ref, AO29/19, I take it that means Army Orders 29/19.

It is on the MIC for Pte Edward Nowland 62564, KOYLI,there is also a mention of Kings Regulations Para 392, I'm completely losted with this.

As you all know we can't post a copy of it.

Thanking you all in advance.

Para 392 covers reasons for discharge - I think you will find the various sub paras on the LLT.

Hi

Yes it is Army Order 29 of 1919 - refers to issue of silver war badge

Here is the LLT reference - http://www.1914-1918.net/grandad/mic.htm

but it does not contain the clauses

Looking at the MIC it says Para 292 (think it should be 392) xvi - which refers to men discharged from the army due to being no longer physically fit for service (due to wounds or illness)

regards

Robert

Thank you Suirrel and Robert, it goes along way to explaining things, the Kings Regulation I basically understood it was the AO that stumped me.

Cheers Roger.
