shirley23 Posted 9 February , 2010 Share Posted 9 February , 2010 Hi, I am researching my great Grandfathers military history and do not have very much at the moment, he served with the 10th Battalion, west Yorkshire Regiment and he was killed at Fricourt, france on 01/07/1916 He was private John William Paylor no. 21457 m son was lucky enough to visit his grave last year when he was on a school trip so we have photo's of his grave but I would love to find out more about what happened to his battalion that day and what they had done before that. Thanks
