widavies Posted 16 November , 2009 Share Posted 16 November , 2009 Hi It appears that both my great uncles (from seperate sides of the family) served with the 1st Btn RWF at Festubert in May 1915. Both were unfortunately Killed about the same time during the battle and both have memorials at Le Touret. Their names where: Richard Owen Private 6026 in the 3rd (SR) RWF, On 23 November 1914 posted as a reinforcement to the 1st RWF in France Joseph Davies 11069 Does anybody have any further information about the Battalion during this time including names of officers and other ranks, battle reports etc. Regards Will Davies Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
