Ted, is there anything which identifies the location of the train photo? I assume it's somewhere in the Lens area and I'm intrigued by the ridge in the distance and the slope on the right. This set of entries is every bit as good as the then and now ones, although I feel for the guy pushing the handcart on his own (update - I've just spotted the lads in front holding some kind of harness......).

As much as I've tried, Pete, I can't get my bearings with this one....I suspect that may be a slag heap on the right, which may be anywhere in the Lens area.
