The Front Line by Private Robert Edward Bradshaw
Recitation of The Great War poem written by Private Robert Edward Bradshaw, 16th Battalion, Canadian Infantry, Canadian Expeditionary Force, killed in action, April 9th 1917 on the first day of the Battle of Vimy Ridge (Battle of Arras); performed by his grandson, Jason Bradshaw of Brantford, Ontario. Private Bradshaw was 29 years old at the time of his death. His body has been lost, but believed by historian Norm Christie to still remain in Grave CA 40, south of Neuville-St-Vaast and Thélus, France.
