I'd be grateful if some kind person might have access to the war diary account of this unit's attack at Loos launched from Givenchy. If you can help in any other way that too would be well received.

A colleague at work would like to know about how a relative died in this attack.

The Givenchy was a diversionary attack to assist the Loos thrust. The Long Long Trail has a page for you to read:

2 O&BLI were in 5 Brigade of 2 Division if this helps you to follow the story.

I have an OBLI war diary dated 1919, rather than trawl all through it can you offer any dates and I shall read /scan any relevant bits for you?

I have the whole war dairies of 2nd OBLI, spanning the whole war and have transcribe Sep 1915, as i am new to this site you will have to let me know how i can send them to you
