Hello fellow Pals,

I recently acquired medals to the above soldier. MIC indicates entry to Gallipoli (2B) on 5 Aug 1915. Would he have been a reinforcement to one of the Territorial Battalions or on the strength of 9th (Service) Bn that landed at Suvla Bay in Aug 15? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Unfortunately the 14/15 Star was missing from the group. Henry went on later to serve with the Northhamtonshire Regiment. Many thanks in advance.

Hi David, Henry doesn't appear to have a TF number and the entry date would suggest the 9th Bn which landed on the 6th August 1915,

Hi Jon,

thanks for the reply. I was leaning towards the 9th Bn given the date of entry into the theatre. One just likes to verify these things from time to time.
