6th Shropshires Posted 6 June , 2008 Posted 6 June , 2008 The 74th Division had carried out an attack near Ronssoy on the 21st Sept. , the leading battalions failed to clear a strong post know as the "Quadrilateral". The 10/K.S.L.I. were ordered to clear it out, they were met with severe opposition, and suffered many casualties. The battalion rallied and tried again during the early hours of the 22nd, capturing the strong point. Annette
