34thdiv Posted 2 June , 2008 Posted 2 June , 2008 Hello All, In a previous thread I noticed the following, "the medieval headstone of the Prince of Moravia and Bohemia, killed by the Prince of Wales in the Battle of Crecy (1346), is also located at La Targette cemetery." Could someone please give me it's location in the cemetery as I'd like to visit it on my next trip to the WW1 battlefields? Thank you, Regards, Rob.
CROONAERT Posted 2 June , 2008 Posted 2 June , 2008 Smack in the middle, in front of the "shrine". It's on it's own (in only a small cemetery - 55 from WW1 and 151 from WW2) - you can't miss it! (it's the Nazdar cemetery at Neuville-St-Vaast "officially", by the way. There are others at La targette (French & Brit)) Dave
