Dannemois Posted 29 May , 2008 Posted 29 May , 2008 A soldier I am researching died of wounds on the 24 April 1915 whilst serving with the 1st Bn Monmouthshire Regiment and is name is remembered on the Ypres memorial. Can someone tell me exactly where the Monmouthshires were on that day. Thanks Roy

Hope you are well Steve Hi Martyn The soldier's name was Charles Ernest Morgan, Serv No 123, 1st Bn, Monmouthshire Regiment. I mailed you a copy of the newspaper article when he was reported killed, have you had it? Roy
