Monmouthshire Regiment

A soldier I am researching died of wounds on the 24 April 1915 whilst serving with the 1st Bn Monmouthshire Regiment and is name is remembered on the Ypres memorial. Can someone tell me exactly where the Monmouthshires were on that day.

To Verlenhoek on the 22nd and then trenches in Zonnebeke sector on the 23rd.

"C" company in action near Boetleer Farm on 24th and 25th.

Hi Martyn

The soldier's name was Charles Ernest Morgan, Serv No 123, 1st Bn, Monmouthshire Regiment. I mailed you a copy of the newspaper article when he was reported killed, have you had it?
