I want to thank everyone for replying... Now I`m interested in actions and locations of 5th "Rohr" during the last months of the war. Does someone have more information?

None of my sources has information past Operation Michael. I will be very interested if anyone has specific details. Based on 'Storm of Steel' and other accounts, I suspect the following. Firstly, stosstruppen took heavy casualties during the Spring offensives. Numbers were further reduced by the effects of flu'. It will have taken time to recover fighting effectiveness, both through recruitment and training. By then, the Allied offensives had started. Eventually, everyone was needed to resist the Allied advance as much as possible. Local counter-attacks were attempted but there was never the capacity to plan or conduct a major offensive. Sturmbatallion Rohr may have continued in it's pre-emminent training role.
