I'm trying to find out which Battalion of the Worcesters a relative of mine would have been in, and where he might have been wounded, as he was subsequently invalided out. He was Frank (Francis) Bennett of the Worcesters, and his MIC says he entered Balkans 2B on 29th August 1915. Did the Worcesters land in Gallipoli around then? Which Batt.?

He's either going to be the 4th Bn or the 9th Bn. Probably the 9th as the rgimental history mentions reinforcements arriving around this time.

You could try a query on:

Cheers
