Zumfan Posted 27 May , 2008 Share Posted 27 May , 2008 Pte Ralph Martin 17861 with 10th Bn Glosters was medically discharged 22.5.1917 as I have gleaned from SWB details. There is no service record for him. Does anyone have the war diaries that might tell me where he was at that time, or what the wounds may have been? Would he have been medically discharged some time after being wounded, or immediately? I think he was sent to a hospital in Birmingham. Is there anyway of finding which one? Glosters Posted 27 May , 2008 Share Posted 27 May , 2008 10th Bn War Diary is no help, not much detail and only mentions officers by name. Steve
