Sources of Information

I have a few servicemen listed on the Grantown War Memorial I have yet to find information on. So I am looking for ideas as to where to look.

Looking for where they lived.

Here are the sources I have used so far.

Morayshire Roll of Honour.

CWGC

SDGW

Strathspey Herald.

Any other sources I should be looking at?

A couple of ideas.

London Gazette (the individuals may be noted as having Government money outstanding);

National Army Museum (access to "effects", which are actually entries of accounts - stored offsite - apply by letter - but not if you don't yet know the man's regiment, etc).

Trawl the genealogy sites on the web, searching on the man's name and Grantown. This can sometimes be surprisingly helpful.
