Hi all

I have a single Victory Medal to 210384 Sapper Ralph William Masters, Royal Engineers. I am not a RE collector and beyond my general knowledge of the Corps I know little about them in detail. The reason for my interest in this medal is due to the fact the recipient was from my hometown of Walsall.

Is it possible to ascertain from his service number or other records as to what unit he served within the Royal Engineers? I would like to trace his steps and find out where he was during WW1.

Also does anyone know the whereabouts of his War Medal?

Any help would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Mark
