I've just started looking into my grt uncle Christian Seiler, and iunderstand that i need to get in touch with kew,but on his medal card,on ancestry, the fields 'theatre of war' and 'date of entry' are blank.was this common?this was also the same for his brother Peter.christian was kia,at the somme, peter returned home. Also, could anyone advise me,how to find out about stobs/stobbs internment camp hawick scotland, origanally an army training camp, then pow camp.As my gggrandad, the aboves father, also a Christian Seiler(german subject)was interned there. If anyone can offer advice on where i should be looking i would be very greatfull.thank you.fiona.

Cards with blank references in the Theatre of War spaces usually mean that the man went overseas (to any Theatre of War) on or after 1st January 1916.
