Can anyone unscramble the names on this postcard please? The first and third look like Lt Delaray and Sgt Belshes, neither of which give a match on the MICs

Hi Kate,

Could No.1 be Lt. Delainey? No.2 Sgt Jackson....too late for any more squintting through the bottom of the glass

Raven Hill

F(f)orestfach

West Swansea

As for the first line there are a fair few streetnames prefixed 'Cadle' in the Fforestfach area - maybe a miss-spelling on the part of the sender?

Cadle is a place name in Swansea - a chap from 3 Cadle Terrace joined the Swansea Battalion.
