susanhemmings Posted 16 August , 2008 Share Posted 16 August , 2008 Does this mean that "Digi-shots" and "Alugsdaler" are related? whatever the connection: the postcard is a cracking one.
susanhemmings Posted 16 August , 2008 Share Posted 16 August , 2008 There is this one on ancestry: born 1878 Lancashire ......it says next page - brother "michael" crossed out then sister Mrs Green.... probably not as census does not mention a michael... then again the pages do get muddled .... will download a relevant page if someone points me to which one may help............ here goes: (this chap was wounded in action 1917)

susanhemmings Posted 16 August , 2008 Share Posted 16 August , 2008 Just another thought..... on the postcard opposite 5th from left it says something like "Gram Kings brother"......(does this read Grandma King's brother?) have found marriage of a Bridget Dempsey to a Thomas King on Ancestry 1900. This may be the Bridget that Stebie found on the 1881 census.......... any thoughts?
